Get started

On my first visit, should I explore the sky map or start a consultation?

To explore your chart, start by browsing the sky map for free. For questions about work, relationships or a life stage, choose a natal chart consultation; to understand how two people relate, choose relationship compatibility; for the progress of a particular matter, choose Ashtamangalam number divination.

Describe your recent circumstances, the choices you are considering, and what you most want to clarify. For example: “I'm considering staying in specialist work or moving into management. Which direction is more suitable over the next few years?”

What birth details do I need? What if I am unsure of the time?

Enter the birth date, the clock time used at the birthplace at that time, and the location. If the time comes from family recollection or an estimate, you can mention this. The site handles time zones and daylight saving time based on the location.

The ascendant, house cusps and higher divisional charts are more sensitive to time. If the time is uncertain, first check which positions remain stable; a Moon near a lunar mansion boundary also affects the starting period. The basic Ashtamangalam number divination assessment uses the drawn numbers; birth details are optional.

How do I ask follow-up questions after a consultation?

Open your original consultation and continue asking there. Your previous details and answers are retained, so you can add recent changes or narrow your question to a specific choice.

When using standard points or a time-limited pack, 10 points are deducted after each initial answer or follow-up answer is delivered in full. Membership uses a separate daily allowance. Reviewing existing answers is free. Use the appropriate birth details when asking about someone else.

Chart calculation and conventions

Why does Aplune produce a different chart from JHora or other software?

A common reason is different calculation settings. Aplune uses the tropical zodiac for signs and Dhruva equatorial lunar mansions for lunar mansions and the starting dasha balance. Software using the Lahiri sidereal zodiac may produce different sign placements and dates.

Start comparisons with birth time and place, then examine the zodiac, lunar mansion coordinates, house system, nodes and divisional-chart algorithms. For dashas, also check year length: this site's Vimshottari uses a Saura year of 365.2422 days.

Does AI calculate the chart? Can it change the data itself?

Celestial positions, divisional charts, and major-period dates are calculated by the charting software. AI reads these results and draws on astrological materials to interpret your question.

AI may still misread positions, miss conditions or interpret them incorrectly. If you notice inconsistencies, check them against the original chart.

Link to this question
If signs use the tropical zodiac, why can lunar mansions still use a sidereal reference?

Signs and lunar mansions use different reference systems. This site's twelve signs begin at the vernal equinox; lunar mansions use Dhruva equatorial coordinates, dividing twenty-seven mansions with reference to the Galactic Center.

Use the corresponding Dhruva degree when consulting the lunar mansion table. The natal Moon's mansion determines the first mahadasha; its position within that mansion determines how much of that mahadasha remains. Differences in lunar mansion coordinates also affect dasha starting dates when comparing with other software.

Why are the cusp numbers not listed in order from one to twelve?

Whole-sign houses take the rising sign as the first house and arrange the twelve signs in sequence. Campanus cusps are twelve specific degree points used to examine the corresponding people or matters.

In a divisional chart, house cusps are also reassigned to signs according to the divisional rules, so their numbers may appear out of order or overlap. A cusp's ruler depends on the sign it actually occupies.

Chart reading and understanding

Why is it still so hard when the planet is strong?

Someone may be highly capable of solving problems yet continually encounter difficulties. Planetary strength indicates the capacity to act; house placement and related factors help explain the circumstances faced and the costs involved.

For example, a capable person facing flawed conditions for cooperation may repeatedly have to compensate and invest substantial effort. The strain then comes from those conditions, while their personal ability can still contribute.

Why am I not very wealthy or famous despite having Raja Yoga?

Raja Yoga examines whether a person can apply their talents and put what they truly want to do into action. It concerns outward achievement as well as the satisfaction of doing the work. Income, wealth and social standing each have their own criteria for assessment.

The same combination may be complete or weakened by participating planets' dual responsibilities, interference from planets in the same sign, or external aspects. Relevant periods further show which parts become more prominent at that stage.

Why can career go well while relationships struggle during the same major period?

Career and relationships involve different factors. A subperiod may support professional results while increasing responsibility or separation in relationships, so progress and pressure can coexist in the same phase.

The reading examines natal conditions, relevant divisional charts and the effects of major periods and subperiods for each area separately, then explains their respective changes and connections between stages.

Does entering a Ketu major period necessarily mean losing many things?

How Ketu's major period unfolds depends on its house, sign ruler, same-sign relationships and the life area under discussion. Some configurations support development; others involve separation or loss.

Only by adding subperiods can we explain which stretch of time is more prominent, what the changes concern, and which forms of support can operate.

If destiny can be described, do choices still matter?

Even when astrology describes developmental tendencies, choice remains part of life: preparation, commitment, withdrawal or changed arrangements affect how you experience events.

Traditions differ on whether the future is entirely predetermined. In practice, consultations return to your existing circumstances, the options you are considering, and their possible outcomes and costs.

What do Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha mean?

Dharma is a path aligned with one's nature, duties and sense of meaning; Artha is the resources that sustain life; Kama is desire, relationships and fulfillment; Moksha is liberation from attachment.

These four concepts address different pursuits in life. Work, for example, can provide income while also raising questions about whether it merits long-term commitment; relationships bring fulfillment alongside choices and responsibilities.

Relationships and specific questions

Does a high compatibility score guarantee a good relationship? Does a low score mean we cannot be together?

The total score mainly reflects how much the partners' shared needs overlap. A high score generally makes mutually acceptable arrangements easier to find; with a low score, each person may need more independent fulfillment. Identical totals can also come from entirely different component scores.

Readings prioritize key defects and their cancellation conditions, including Vedha, Rajju and Strii, then consider the total and component scores to explain areas of harmony, likely mismatches and support that can help the relationship.

D9 and D7 both address relationships—what is the difference?

D7 focuses on cooperation in shared life, collaboration, parenting and creation. D9 focuses on the path one chooses and whether marriage supports one's values, meaning and growth.

Two people may cooperate smoothly in daily life yet gradually want different lives; they may also face considerable initial friction and later build trust through a shared direction. D7 and D9 can each help explain these differences.

Does Ashtamangalam number divination require a birth time? How are numbers drawn from 108 shells?

Birth details are optional. In Ashtamangalam number divination, select two groups from 108 shells; those remaining form the third group. The three numbers are then used to assess changes across the matter’s earlier and later stages.

Birth details supplement comparisons of natal lunar mansions and Moon signs; the core inquiry still proceeds from the numbers drawn this time.

How does a living-abroad consultation differ from relocation?

Living-abroad consultations explore opportunities to leave, settle long-term, return home, and move through different phases. Relocation compares cities you are considering, focusing on career, making a home, daily life, and costs.

When asking, explain your purpose for traveling, rough plans, existing opportunities, and candidate locations. Work, travel, and long-term settlement involve different concerns; this background helps define the consultation's focus.

Points and payment

What is free? How many points does each answer cost?

New users receive 10 points on registration, enough for 1 complete consultation free. This bonus is granted once per account. Basic chart calculation, sky map browsing, and reviewing existing records do not use points.

Standard points and time-limited packs deduct 10 points per complete answer; membership uses 65 allowance units for an initial analysis and 10 for a follow-up. Prices and validity periods are listed on the purchase page.

Link to this question
Are points deducted if a request fails, times out, or I close the page?

No points are deducted for failed generation, timeouts or incomplete delivery. The same delivered answer is never charged twice.

Accepted tasks continue after you close the page. Points are deducted only if the complete response is ultimately delivered. Return to the original consultation to view progress and answers.

I have paid, but my points have not arrived. What should I do?

After paying, check the relevant order’s status and keep the order number, payment time, and receipt for verification. Do not pay again while verification is in progress.

If the status remains incorrect, contact contact@aplune.com with your account and the information above. See the refund policy for duplicate payments or undelivered services.

Link to this question
How much can members ask each day? Does the allowance carry over?

Membership provides a shared daily allowance of 200. An initial analysis uses 65 and a follow-up question uses 10—for example, about 3 initial analyses, 2 initial analyses plus 7 follow-up questions, or 20 follow-up questions. These are alternative uses of the same allowance.

Resets at midnight Beijing time (UTC+8); unused allowance does not carry over. Valid for 30 calendar days from the payment confirmation date, with no automatic renewal. Buying the same membership tier again extends its validity without reissuing that day’s allowance. If the membership allowance is insufficient for this request, existing standard points or time-limited pack allowance are used under the original rules.

Link to this question
Do time-limited packs renew automatically? Will my standard points remain after expiry?

Time-limited packs are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal. Pack allowances are used first; if you have multiple packs, the one expiring soonest is used first, followed by standard points.

When a time-limited pack expires, its remaining allowance expires, but standard points remain. You can view the allowance and validity period for each purchase in your top-up orders.

Link to this question
Can I get a refund if I bought the wrong plan, paid twice, or did not receive the service?

Refunds require a review of the specific order: whether the pack has been used, whether payment was duplicated, whether the service was delivered, and the reason for the request. See the refund policy for eligibility conditions.

When applying, provide your account, order number and proof of payment so the order can be verified. Do not provide passwords, verification codes or a full bank card number.

Account and profiles

How does the “Me” profile relate to temporarily switching charts?

Guests see the current sky by default. Once signed in, the profile marked “Me” supplies the default birth details. Temporarily viewing another profile does not change that designation.

In My account, you can add or edit saved profiles, or change which profile is marked Me. Each profile is saved separately; click Confirm after making changes.

Link to this question
Will my birth details and consultations be made public?

Your birth profiles and consultation records are saved with your account and are not automatically published on public pages. The knowledge library and FAQ discuss general questions using teaching examples that do not identify users.

Chart calculation, answer generation, continuation of past consultations, and troubleshooting use the information needed to provide these services. See the Privacy Policy for details on processing scope, storage, and personal information rights. Obtain the necessary authorization before providing another person's information.

Link to this question
Can I still see my previous consultations after signing in or switching devices?

Sign in to the same account to view its saved profiles and consultations. If the records look wrong, first check which account you are signed in to.

Accepted tasks continue even after you close the page. Return to the original consultation to view the result and ask follow-up questions.
